Wu Xiaoshen New Work Exhibition

In this Exhibition, there are two series of the artist: one is on the road, and the other is on the subway. Wu Xiaoshen still use big size to express the understanding of the common people.

More often than not, the works of Wu Xiaoshen depict the life of ordinary folks, the nonentities, in Chinese society. With his focus on these nonentities, on the joy and sorrow in their life, on their day-to-day struggle, Mr. Wu's paintings urge the public to pay attention to the reality. In this sense his works may be characterized as a social landscape against which ordinary Chinese manage to make a living. Drawn upon his optimism derived from an immersion in modern urban life, Wu Xiaoshen's works are filled with his sympathy and understanding for the nonentities. Compared with other painters, the range of themes and topics in which he deals with the life of nonentities is much wider, a key sign of his artistic maturity.

I am looking forward to see more works of artist Wu Xiaoshen.
